I was just wondering if you had to choose a type of mage what would it be and why??

Going by how much fun it was leveling up red mage in FF11, I'd pick that.
What about blue mage though? :p

Red Mage. Being balenced in both black and white magic means versatility in combat. Especially if you have a Black Mage but no White Mage and viceversa.

And being able to get in on the combat with a sword and shield too with Red Mage.

Blue Mage the monser skills are always cool Plus i got healing /combat and magic skills all in one
