Ok so where to begin. My name is Russell, or Russ for what its worth, whichever you prefer. I am a proud viking warrior, a heathen-hearted Scandinavian pirate and a lover of nature. I love cold rainy days, the wind and sea, and especially the white skies of winter. I am a man of passions, of music and poetry, a romantic at heart. I am sentimental but I have a fiery temper that must be calmed and soothed or given time to burn out. My star sign is Aries the ram and I relate very strongly to the Aries traits. I am courageous, though I fear its because I don't look before I leap, as a result I'm very quick to recover. Patience is a virtue I am still working on but I am a confident person and see no need to hide who and what I am. I pride myself on honesty and loyalty. I am a fairly upbeat and bubbly person and I'm overall pretty friendly. I am a little shy at first but it wears off quickly. There is more to who I am than what you see on the surface so feel free to be a little nosy, I wont bite. I play guitar in a few metal bands and I've gotten pretty good. I have suffered a lot through life but I no longer give a damn, its made me stronger.
the name Solstafir I took it from the lyrics of this awesome song by Agalloch. Solstafir is an Icelandic word made of two words Sol meaning sun and Stafir meaning spell so it literally translates to Sun Spell though it is more commonly used to describe a weather phenomena where sunlight pierces through clouds causing visible light rays which I think are very pretty.
