Age fourteen. Melrose High School. The beginning of the one friendship that has stood the test of time thus far. The beginning of something more than friendship. 2004. Age fifteen. Year nine. A slight misunderstanding leaves me hurt, and you laughing. We dance in the rain. Ultimately, it's brought us closer. You graduate. 2005. Age sixteen. I'm a senior. You've moved on to college. We remain in close contact. I lose interest in schoolwork, and spend the days with you. 2006. Age seventeen. Graduation. College. A rather... eventful year, to say the least. You pull me through. 2007. Age eighteen. Queensland. Six months of living like a sociophobe. The thought of seeing you again keeps me smiling. 2008-present. Age nineteen. Life is getting better.
