I have never looked at my life in quite the same way after watching this movie, and hearing Brandon Lee say those particular words. If he had not died during the filming, they may not have had the same impact. It was the irony of his death shortly after having made that statement that brought it so much more into focus. The truth behind those words suddenly became undeniable.

Things that I once used to take for granted or maybe took note of for just a moment, I now revel in....the color of the sky, the smell of rain, a look, a touch. Even certain aspects of life that I once somewhat despised have become beautiful in my eyes....snow, the power of a storm, tears. Everything has new meaning, and I will forever remember that any day, any experience could be my last...Nothing is trivial.

I leave you with Brandon Lee's entire thoughts surrounding that one line.....

Because we do not know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. And yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps 4 or 5 times more? Perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps 20, and yet it all seems limitless.
