Yeah, I did like the look and feel of it too. After doing some benchmarks, its definately performing better than vista, at least by half. I'd post it, but i'm on a government computer. Did you get the coupin for the free upgrade? If not, im not going to suggest any other ways to get it on a web*torrent*site. If you are in college, your school should have copies. I got mine for free with 10 licenses from my college, so yeah, even though I only needed one. Eon, Current benchmark scores right now are: (these were fresh installs, both 64-bit, Vista being ultimate and 7 Being pro, and both comps are exact same. 2.2ghz core 2 duo, 4 gb of ram, nvidia 9800m GS) Boot: Vista=27.4 seconds 7=14.4 seconds memory: Vista:1.45 GB 7:1.05 GB I havent gotten around to doing 3dmark benchmarks for crysis yet, but I will eventually haha. I mean, I have a feeling that XP will just get phased out like 98 and NT 4.0. I do see why it would yet, but its better to transistion if you can to get used to the feel and fundamentals. btw, I still hate UAC with a passion, even though I can adjust its "level." It stays off You can tweak 7 just like vista to use less resources. Here I mean, its super uber sexy to me, since I phased out windows server 2003 for 2008.
